Habe lange nur die Logic-Pro-X Stock-Compressoren verwendet. War vielleicht gut, darauf die Basics zu lernen, weil sie gut zu bedienen sind. Habe mir vor einiger Zeit den Waves CLA-2A gekauft, weil ich gesehen habe, dass viele ihn für HipHop Vocals verwenden. Der Compressor überzeugt mit einem tollen Klang und setzt sich deutlich von Logics bereits guten Stock-Compressorn ab. Der Compressor kann auch deutlich besser eine starke Gain-Reduction (GR) handeln. Während bei meinen alten Stock-Comps bereits bei 4dB GR ein teils zu stark verpresster und verzerrter Klang entstand, sind für den CLA-2A 10 oder 15db GR gar kein Problem. Die Bedienung ist durch die nur zwei Knöpfe sehr einfach, aber leider etwas unpräzise. Auch die visuelle Auflösung ist ausbaufähig, doch das was wirklich zählt ist ja der Sound und dieser ist wunderbar. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
